- Verify the buyer: Communicate clearly and ensure the buyer is genuine before arranging a meetup.
- Cash or instant transfers: Ensure digital payments have completely cleared in your bank account before handing over the item. Fake SMS alerts are a common scam.
- Don't share sensitive info: Never share your UPI PIN, OTPs, or detailed bank credentials with buyers.
- Take someone with you: For high-value transactions, it's always safer to bring a friend or family member along.
